In Victoria, all children are entitled to be enrolled at their designated neighbourhood school as a right under the legislation, the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). Designated neighbourhood schools are generally the public school within closest proximity to the student’s permanent residential (home) address, unless the Minister for Education or Regional Director has restricted the zone of the school. EHPS does have an official enrolment ceiling applied by the Department of Education & Training (DET) due to site capacity. To check if EHPS is your designated neighbourhood school, or check a school zone, go to Find My School, the official and most up to date school zones map - CLICK HERE. Also, refer to DET Enrolment FAQs for more information - CLICK HERE.If EHPS is not your neighbourhood school, enrolment is offered at the discretion of our Principal if there is sufficient capacity onsite and in the required year level, in accordance with our enrolment policy and DET Placement Policy.
