EHPS is committed to improving and facilitating communication between our school and home. We use the Compass School Manager, a web based system, as our Parent Portal.
The Compass Parent Portal is our primary means of communication with the school community, and it allows our families to access up to date information about school and make a number of tasks easier.
On enrolment, each family will be provided with a unique family username and password by the school to log in to Compass. Open Compass on any modern web browser at https://essexheightsps-vic.compass.education - or by downloading the Compass School Manager iOS from the App Store or Android app onto a smart phone.
Each family has one Compass log-in provided that includes each currently enrolled student at EHPS. Where there is shared custody and a student lives with each parent at different addresses, independent Compass logins are provided for each parent. If this applies, contact our Office for the documentation required.

Please note that student reports are accessible for the duration of a child's enrolment at EHPS. You are advised to download your own copy each semester to an external source for future use, e.g. secondary school application.
Families will receive regular communication from school and are encouraged to regularly log in to Compass.
The online guide for parents and families or Parent Guide will assist your understanding of the functions and use of Compass.
Student Profile & Academic Reports
Please note that a student profile exists on Compass only for the period of their enrolment at EHPS. When they leave, their profile will not be accessible. As students' academic reports are provided to families via Compass, it is essential that each report be saved to an external location before the student leaves EHPS so that it remains accessible in the future (eg secondary school application).
