*First day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all Victorian government schools.
School terms and holidays are set by the Department of Education.
Students are supervised by Teachers in the playground from 8.45am to the commencement of classes, at all times when students are in the playground during school hours, and after school until 3.45pm. Students who are at school before 8.45am and after 3.45pm should be booked in to our Before and After School Care program.
Students are dismissed at 2.30pm at the end of Terms 1, 2 and 3, and 1.30pm at the end of Term 4.
Students do not attend school during the Term holidays, on public holidays and on student-free days.
Students do not attend school on five days during school terms - four Student-free days and one Professional Practice Day for staff. Student-free Days are provided to Victorian government schools for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development, student assessment and reporting purposes. The Professional Practice Day for staff is for professional development.The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all government schools, and the remaining four (three Student-free Days and one Professional Practice Day) are determined by each individual school.
