School terms and holidays are set by the Department of Education and Training (DET).
2020
Term 1 Tuesday 28th January* to Friday 27th March

Term 4 Monday 5th October to Friday 18th December
* 28th January is a student-free day in all Victorian government schools.
2021
Term 1 Wednesday 27th January* to Thursday 1st April

Term 3 Monday 12th July to Friday 17th September
Term 4 Monday 4th October to Friday 17th December

Students do not attend school during the term holidays, on public holidays, and on the four student-free days provided to Victorian government schools.
Student-free days are provided for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development, and student assessment and reporting purposes. The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all government schools and the remaining three are determined by each individual school.
Student-free Days in 2020: Tuesday 28th January, Wednesday 29th January, plus two additional days to be determined by School Council. Our Outside of School Hours Care program provides a Curriculum Day program from 7am to 6pm; students must be enrolled in the OSHC program and booking is required.Public holidays in 2020 during school terms: Monday 9th March (Labour Day), Monday 8th June (Queen's Birthday), Tuesday 3rd November (Melbourne Cup Day).
