Foundation (Prep) 2026

The school transition program for children enrolled to start school in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at EHPS runs throughout Term 4. We look forward to welcoming and getting to know our incoming students and their families as they prepare for the exciting transition to primary school.

All children enrolled to start school in 2026 at EHPS are strongly encouraged to attend their transition program in Term 4 2025:

Friday 7 November - Maths activities for the children, and a parent session with our Maths Specialist.
Friday 14 November - Specialist subjects (Indonesian, P.E., art and music) activities. Parent session with our First Aid Officer and presentation from our uniform supplier, Spartan School World.
Friday 28 November - Literacy activities for the children, and a parent session with our Literacy Specialist.
Friday 5 December - Orientation for the children. They will participate in a fun session, experiencing a typical morning in Prep, including activities, stories and outdoor play time.

A Parent Information Evening will be held on Tuesday 18 November from 6pm to 7.30pm. Parents/Carers will visit the Prep classrooms to see the spaces children will be working and learning in and have the opportunity to purchase secondhand uniform, followed by a presentation in the School Hall to hear from our Prep Team about:

Children requiring enrolment in Foundation (Prep) in 2026 at EHPS who are eligible for in zone placement according to Find My School, are required to submit an application on the VicStudents portal -  https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ - to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all enrolment supporting documents are attached to your application - each original document is to be saved as a PDF and named as follows "CHILD'S NAME 2026 NAME OF DOCUMENT", e.g. "Jane Smith 2026 Birth Certificate".
