Year 5 Camp - Sovereign Hill

Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th May 2019

The 2019 Year 5 Camp will be held at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat.

Year 6 Camp - Forest Lodge Farm Camp

Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th May (Camp One) and Wednesday 8th to Friday 10th May (Camp Two)

These camps were rescheduled from 4th to 8th March due to the Gippsland fires, in consultation with the Department of Education and Training and Forest Lodge Farm Camp.

The 2019 Year 6 Camps will be held at Forest Lodge Farm Camp at Jack River, which is situated between Welshpool and Alberta in Gippsland, approximately one and a half hours drive south east of Melbourne.

The camp is fully staffed by outdoor educators experienced in outdoor pursuits and environmental studies. Together with EHPS staff, Forest Lodge Farm Camp provides a program that enables students to develop confidence, self esteem, risk taking and team building skills through a variety of health, physical and outdoor education activities, including ropes courses, canoeing, bush cookery and survival skills. The program also offers experiences that continue to build a cohesive, positive and cooperative spirit amongst the Year 6 students. They will be introduced to and involved in new personal and outdoor experiences and challenges.

EHPS Year 6 teachers, support staff and personnel will be attending the camp, working closely with the Forest Lodge Farm Camp staff to provide students with experiences that support and enrich their Year 6 curriculum.
